GALLERY RUETZ & KOTOBUKI |

NEW

The Munich-based gallery Ruetz & Kotobuki specialises in the trade of Japanese sketches and fine prints. A new visual identity was created for the gallery and presented to the public at the Paris International Antiquarian Book Fair taking place each year in the nave of the Grand Palais. The new identity was incorporated onto posters, press releases, and onto the large padded envelopes protecting the art pieces of the gallery. The emblematic Futura typeface has been chosen for the written part of the logo as it suggests the refinement and the expressive quality of Japanese imagery. This new graphic design is based on Tanaka Ikko's inspirational work, mixing traditional Eastern motifs and Western geometrical abstraction.
