Organisée à la maison Revel de Pantin lors de la cinquième édition des Journées des métiers d’art, l’exposition Polarités a rassemblé des pièces élaborées en binôme. Pour concevoir et réaliser Duo, le Studio LWA s’est associé au créateur de masques Alaric Chagnard. Fruit d’une alliance de savoir-faire et de sensibilités, le moulage en papier d’un visage est habillé de textes sérigraphiés traitant de la dualité du concept d’œuvre d’art. The Polarités exhibition was held at La Maison Revel for the 5th edition of the Journées des métiers d’art. The artworks presented to the public were all designed and created by duos of artists. Similarly, Studio LWA has worked with mask maker Alaric Chagnard to design and create Duo. Bringing together their savoir-faire and sharing their insight, the pair gave birth to a paper cast face decorated with texts printed in silkscreen, illustrating the concept of duality in art. The installation reminds us that the creative process remains something mysterious and complex. Materials : paper cast Dimensions : 45 cm X 25 cm
